Tuning Service Calls
Standard Tuning Service Call – $150 – 2 hours scheduled
For pianos that are on a regular maintenance schedule and have been tuned less than two years ago. Minor adjustments, repairs, cleaning, or voicing are included as needed.
Pitch Adjustment Service Call – $210 – 3 hours scheduled
For pianos that have been moved between residences since the last tuning, or have not been tuned in more than two years. Includes extra time for pitch correction, light cleaning, or mechanical adjustments (regulation) and repairs.
The TLC Package – $260 – 3.5–4 hours scheduled
For very neglected pianos needing several passes of tuning to achieve a pitch-stable state, or where there are detrimental mechanical issues such as several sticking keys or misalignment. Pianos purchased from Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist are often neglected for decades before being sold and need this type of service to get the piano to an enjoyable condition again. If it sounds like a saloon or a horror film, you’ll need this. This service includes major pitch correction and more extensive adjustment/repairs.
Add-ons To A Service Call
Grand Piano Action & Soundboard Cleaning – $100
Clean and blow out dust & debris from action, action cavity, and soundboard.
Upright Piano Action and keybed cleaning – $100
Clean and blow out debris from action. Clean keybed underneath keys and space in bottom of piano by pedals.
Light Voicing Package – $60
Light hammer filing and needling or solution voicing to achieve a more balanced and pleasant tone.
Full Voicing Package – $250
Full hammer reshaping, deep needling, and regulation to align hammers properly with the strings. This service is typically needed every 10-20 years depending on the use of the piano.
Other Services
Inspection – $75
Looking to purchase a piano and need a technician to check the condition? This service includes an evaluation on the piano’s action, pinblock, bridges, etc to ensure the purchased piano will be serviceable. Travel within the greater Nashville, Hendersonville, Gallatin, Goodlettsville, Lebanon, or Mt. Juliet available.
Full Piano Regulation
This is a full day procedure and involves a careful step-by-step process to properly align the action parts to ensure a consistent dynamic response across the keys. Prior inspection needed to assess what adjustments, repairs, or lubrication are recommended for your piano.
